Customer Reviews

The St. Osyth Priory Home Ed days are the perfect combination of doing and historical learning. There is always a good mix of fascinating information and hands-on craft or experiments, putting into action the learning. The organisers clearly put in a great deal of time and effort preparing for the sessions, and the gorgeous setting of the priory is the absolute icing on the cake. It is not just the kids that learn a lot and look forward to these great classes.
~ From Katie Courts-Giller (Home Ed Sessions)
I love going forest school to play outside and to go on the tractor. I love the outside mud kitchen and being messy. I like making crafts and forest school is the best day in the week.

I would like to thank you so much for the fascinating tour of St Osyth Priory grounds and the chapel and for the warm welcome my group received from you when we came along in June this year.

The day was incredibly well organised with no 'dead time'. The activities were well paced and active and held the children's attention.

All the children are always fully engaged and fascinated by everything they are being taught. I've learnt a lot myself from the incredible teaching too.
~ From a Home Ed mum, Lindy with daughter Molly aged 10
I recently led a Year 5 local study trip to the Priory and cannot recommend the education team enough. The children got a lot out of the day, gaining an extensive knowledge of the legend of Osyth, understanding the origin of the Priory, its previous uses, and the role it plays in our village.
~ Mrs M Stock - St. Osyth Primary School
The students really enjoyed the trip, they gained some vital local history and understanding of their local area.
~ Mrs A Smith | Head of History - The Colne Community School and College
My children have attended several of the education sessions run by Helen at St Osyth Priory and I can honestly say it is the highlight of their month.
