There is currently no gift shop or café at St Osyth Priory so your class should bring packed lunches and snacks with them on the day. We are able to refill water bottles and provide hot drinks for adults. Please bring your own travel cup with you.

Yes, the classroom is a bright modern space equipped with tables and chairs for everyone in your group and audio-visual equipment. Most of the education programmes make use of the classroom at some point during the day although the emphasis is on getting out into the Estate’s historic buildings and beautiful natural environment as much as possible.

We believe that school trips are happier and safer when everyone has a clear understanding of their role and their responsibilities. Please read the linked document before you visit.

Your trip will go ahead as planned unless there is a weather warning. The classroom space in the Education Centre is warm and dry and can be used as a lunch room in the event of wet weather. Education programming will be moved into the Education Centre and Medieval chapel as necessary in bad weather.

Tower trips will not run during periods of high winds and some areas of the Estate may not be accessible during this time.
